DPMS Oracle: Range Report (pic heavy)
here she is, home from the gun show. I was out the door at with this an itac 3x cp1 red/green sight, 500 rounds of wolf in an ammo can for $955. I'll let my shooting speak for itself.
DPMS Oracle: $600
Itac CP1: $150
Overall I am Highly impressed for such a cheap rifle, I didn't rapid fire but it ate the wolf ammo pretty good, zero malfunctions, though I did lube her up.
I think I will call her, Belldandy.

Sweet. I wondered about you all day. What will he come home with? Actually I thought you'd be disappointed with what the show possibly had to offer. Ive been to a few up North here and I was not impressed. I was looking for AK's and info and found the shitiest looking WASR10's and nothing else. Glad to here "and see" your success. Nice shooting!

yeah man, they had a PSL for 700, the DPMS on sale for 600, and the KSG for 1400. If there was a gun you wanted, it was there. Scar's in .308 for 2700. It was a great show, two levels. You should really try and sneak away up there, even WASR-10's are selling for 550 minimum these days and they had them for 500, you could probably sell yours for 400 and snatch up one of the DPMS's they had. The guy with those is on the top floor to the right of where you come in.
Edit: Oh and they had mossberg 500's for $275. that's what my dad got.

I think you made the right choice. Accurate enough for comp, great price, looks sweet. Ammo is available and cheap. The only reason I bought my AK is because I like the beat-up wood look and historic aura. I like old tractors too.

Yeah, father son project. We even split the transmission and replaced the seals. Oh what fun it was. I have the original mowing deck with twin blade rear discharge. It was harder to find new blades for this thing than passing math class in 1983. I use it exclusively to get the mail.

No, just an appreciation for slow moving low geared shit brought back from the dead. So how many rounds are you missing so far?

Wolf has a nice smell eh? It's not as dirty as most, especially bear. Nothing wrong with wolf at all. Actually now it's called Tula. I bought some hornady zombie max just for one mag. Havent shot any yet but I want to too compare.

I love the smell of cordite in the morning. Well we can't really call it cordite anymore but the trade names for this shit just don't roll off the tongue that easy.

I'm trying to find out from my cop friends in the neighborhood if it's OK to shoot behind our neighborhood along side the river. If I find out it's OK I'll be chiming in for a meet.

It is good to know that your rifle works so well (I have not fired the cheaper AR-15 variants).
The AR-15 I built (the total cost must have been somewhere around $800.00) does not reliably digest Wolf ammunition.

Haven't run into him lately. I think he's running with the night shift. I'll let you know. I think Braselton has a clause- No Fuckin Way.
Must become friends with someone with some land/farmland. May someone had a rodent infestation? I don't want to kill the rodents, we could say, yeah we got'em all.

I guess it's all for the better right now. I just sent the optic off for repair/replacement, should be in, i'm guessing in a month or two.
