Sure, we as a nation have always killed people. A lot of people. But no president has ever waged war by killing enemies one by one, targeting them individually for execution, wherever they are. The Obama administration has taken pains to tell us, over and over again, that they are careful, scrupulous of our laws, and determined to avoid the loss of collateral, innocent lives. They're careful because when it comes to waging war on individuals, the distinction between war and murder becomes a fine one. Especially when, on occasion, the individuals we target are Americans and when, in one instance, the collateral damage was an American boy.

I'm glad it didn't have a comments section. It'd be demonstrative of this nations bipartisan love of militaristic imperialism, and hatred of muslims.

I think we as a nation need to come to grips with the fact that, as Americans, on the whole both the democrats and the republicans are deeply, wholly, and truly racist. They're just racist over different things. For the republicans it's often actually racial, as in skin color. They're the easy ones to spot though, and as horrible as they can be, you gotta give them credit for at least being half honest. The democrats on the other hand are the greasy bastards in the room. They lie to themselves about how "progressive" they are. How they aren't bigots or racist, and hold no prejudice against anyone. Well quite frankly, that's bullshit. None of these people give two rat shits about innocent brown people dying overseas. But see for them it's not about skin color, it's about being out of sight, and out of mind. if it isn't affecting Americans (and often their own sub classification I.E. Hispanic, white, LGBT, ect., ect., ect.), they don't actually give to rat shits. Sure, they'll pretend to care. But when it comes right down to it, if it means even a slight inconvenience for them, "well oh that's just too bad, we just can't do anything for the poor brown people. We're killing every day" No, for the democrats, it's about nationality. Their perception of looking like they care is just that, a vain attempt to look like the good guys, all the while they're pushing for the de facto repeal of the fourth amendment, the killings themselves, and generally sucking the cock of big business. Why? because that's their job, to look like the good guys for the half of the country that isn't morally bankrupt, but still isn't really paying attention.
